Are There Computers in Heaven?

I think there could be from following this reasoning.

1. If God knows everything, then God knows everything about computers.
"O how great the holiness of our God! For he knoweth all things, and there is not anything save he knows it." (2 Nephi 9:20)

2. Just because man invents something does not mean it was his idea originally.  Our knowledge of how to build and use computers comes from God.
"...all knowledge comes from God, yet when it has been revealed, all men have not believed it as revelation at the time." -Joseph Smith (Teachings of the Presidents of the Church, Chapter 16)
3. Computers must be based on principles of truth, otherwise they would not function.
"There are many ideas advanced to the world that have been changed to meet the needs of the truth as it has been discovered... As science has expanded our understanding of the physical world, certain accepted ideas of science have had to be abandoned in the interest of truth." -Spencer W. Kimball (Absolute Truth, September 1978)
4. God reveals truths to bless His children. (That's us!)
God is our Heavenly Father.  He loves us.  Heavenly Father has provided us, His children, with away to be successful in this life and to return to live in His presence.  We can show our love for Him through our choices and our obedience to His commandments. (Preach My Gospel, Chapter 3)
5. God has been anxiously awaiting to get computers into our hands to hasten the work of salvation.
"I believe that the Lord is anxious to put into our hands inventions of which we laymen have hardly had a glimpse." - Spencer W. Kimball (When the World Will Be Converted, 1974)

God could not put something into our hands that He did not already have.  Although, the computers we have here might look like ancient artifacts in heaven.  Computers in heaven would probably be way better than the ones we have here. They're likely perfect!  God doesn't settle for less.

So, are there computers in heaven?  I don't know, but let's just say,  I wouldn't be surprised if there are. After all, how could God give us the gift of thumbs if he didn't have it first?
